Security

St Barthelemy is safe and virtually crime-fre island. However, we recommend that you use the safe provided in you rooms. Lock all valuables such as cash, jewelry, passports…etc in the safe. Lock the bedroom door when you leave.

Water

There is no natural fresh water on St Barts. The water at villa Coco Rock comes from the island’s desalination plant with limited capacity. To best utilize your villa’s water, we recoomend the following :

  • Don’t drink water from the taps. Bottled water is widly available.

  • It is safe to cook and make hot beverages with tap water.

  • Please conserve water. Do not leave taps or showers running unnecessarily.

American Gourmet – Gustavia

 

The place in Gustavia to find an extensive range of high-quality superfoods, gluten-free and vegan products. Located Rue du General de Gaulle.

La Vie Claire  - Anse des Cayes

 

The island’s first all organic grocery store, where you will be able to stock up on superfood snacks, non-dairy items, fruits, vegetables and more. Located Quartier du Roy.

Marché U – St Jean and Lorient

 

Located in St Jean across from the airport, and also in Lorient, Marché U offers a wide variety of products, from France, the United States, and the West Indies. With daily deliveries, everything is as fresh as possible: fish, poultry, and meat, as well as fruit, vegetables, and dairy products. Marché U also has a large selection of cold cuts and cheese, as well as a complete wine section, many frozen foods, national newspapers and magazines, and an aisle for pet food.

AMC – Minimart in Lorient

 

Open since 1995, this friendly little grocery store is conveniently located in Lorient. It lives up to your expectations, especially for your weekend shopping or your last-minute purchases as you head home from a day at the beach or after surfing or a hiking excursion.

Open Monday-Saturday 7am-8pm; Sunday 9am-12pm 4pm-8pm

 

AMC – Libre Service in Gustavia

 

Open in 1962, it was the first and only self-service store during many years to offer fresh and dried products in St Barth’s.

Open Monday-Friday 7am-8pm; Saturday 7am-7pm

 

AMC – Supérette de l’aéroport St Jean

 

Open in year 2000, located on the main road facing the airport, it’s a passageway that cannot be overlooked.

Open Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm; Saturday 8am-12 :30pm

Please note that they are only 2 fuel stations on the island: one in the commercial centre just past the airport in St Jean and one at Lorient, further east. The station near the airport is open Monday thru Saturday from 7 :30am-12 pm and 2pm-5pm, and has a 24/7 CC fuel pump. Closed on Sunday.
